JUNE 8TH - MAUDIE -Based on a true story of Maud Dowley and Everett Lewis, this film stars Sally Hawkins and Ethan Hawke! The story of a brusque fishmonger and his housekeeper and how their town comes to appreciate her for the talented artist she becomes! Rated PG-13

JUNE 15TH - FATHER OF THE BRIDE - A remake of the classic film, this version stars Steve Martin, Diane Keaton and Martin Short! Comedic and sentimental at times, this film is an excellent remake! Rated PG

JUNE 22ND - MISS SLOANE - Jessica Chastain stars in this political thriller. Miss Sloane is a brilliant, ruthless political lobbyist who faces her most formidable opponent yet! Rated R

JUNE 29TH - THE SHAPE OF WATER - Set in Cold War era 1962 America, Elsa is a lonely government worker who happens upon a secret experiment that will change her world. The winner of 4 Oscars, this film stars Sally Hawkins and Octavia Spencer! Rated R


We currently only have a book club for adults due to lack of attendance for children and teens. If any children and teens are interested in participating in a book club, please let the librarians know.

Drop in between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM every Friday to build whatever you like with our Duplo collection. Suggested for ages 2 to 6.


Join us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 3:30—5:00 PM for Building Club! Set your imagination free with our vast collection of building supplies, including Legos, MagnaTiles, KEVA planks, and much more! Suggested for ages 3 and up.


2nd and 4th Thursdays in June, July, and August, 3:00—5:00 PM

Do you play yo-yo or want to learn how? Come hang out with other yo-yo players, learn tips and tricks, and discover how to get started. The library has yo-yos you can use if you don't have your own. No registration required.

• Tuesday: Playful Pre-School (3 to 5 yrs.) at 10:00 AM
• Thursday: Wonderful One’s (Birth to 24 mo.) at 10:00 AM


If you’re 65 or older and need help with Medicare or medical insurance, you can sign up to receive assistance on Mondays at 9, 10, or 11 AM. Visits are by appointment only. If these times are not convenient, please contact us to arrange a more convenient time. Counselors are RSVP and APPRISE certified. For those who want to refresh their memory or are advanced players, come in on Wednesdays and Fridays at 11 am - 1pm.  Join in the fun!!


Now there are two options! Mondays at 1 PM and Wednesdays at 6:30 PM! Break out the yarn and come join us!


Join the group for bridge on Fridays from 1:30 to 3:30 PM. A second session has been added for Mondays from 10 AM to 12 PM!


Play rousing games of Mah Jongg at the library on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 12:15 PM.


Socrates Café meets each Monday evening at 7:00 PM to discuss, share, and explore topical issues. No need to register; just come with your thoughts and an open mind.


Teens in grades 6 to 12 are welcome to come to the library for Teen Time every Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 5 PM.
